Im-Paw-sibbly Perfect Dog Gifts

I sincerely hope that you don't furget about your furry friends this holiday season! After all, they're man's best friend, and absolutely deserve attention and love as much as anyone else. For most, pets are an integral part of the family. Would you get presents for your parents, siblings and then leave out your dog? I sure wouldn't. But, are you asking yourself "what would I get my dog for Christmas?" I thought you might... and for that reason I've made a great list of gifts you should give your four-legged friends! Time to get shopping!

Bark-Box

This item is a monthly subscription, and is truly the gift that KEEPS on giving, which is why it sits at the top of this list. One box is $35 with FREE shipping and is full of treats, toys and apparel that your pup is SURE to love... Check it out!

A Puppy Friend

By far the BEST gift for your dog? Another dog. The best way to get another pooch? Adopt it! Here's why.

A Spa Day

A Custom Water & Food Dish

A custom food dish is the perfect gift for your pooch. The cutest can be found on Etsy and my personal favorite is this one.

A Fancy Dog Bed

Memory-Foam Pet Bed with Sheepskin Topper? Yes, please. PLUS, Groupon has this exact bed for under $20... seriously, check it out.

A Cozy Blanket

Under $11 and available in six colors the AKC Fleece Sherpa Pet Throw Blankets will be your pup's new favorite thing.

The Trendiest Dog Toy

Dogs need entertainment too, and a good tug-toy or plush will satisfy his chewing needs for hours (that is until he shreds it into a million pieces).

A Friendship Collar

Have you seen these yet? A company called Friendship Collar has a bunch of pattern and color options for you to select from. they make matching bracelet and collar sets so that you and your pal can completely coordinate, how cute?

Homemade T-R-E-A-T-S

The most affordable and tasty present is a batch of homemade biscuits! Incorporate your pup's favorite flavors: peanut butter, bacon, even cheese! These are sure to go fast. This website offers a whole assortment of recipes to pick from!

A Cute I.D. Tag

This gift is equally functional and adorable. A personalized identification tag can be attached to your dog's collar as a cute accessory and as a way for him to be located in case he were to get lost. Be sure to include your cell number and his name! Amazon has affordable and fashionable options galore!

A Car Blanket

This "Pet Hammock" Car Seat Cover is probably the best pet invention since the Kong. Not only will it keep Fido comfy and secure in the car, but it will also protect your leather seats from scratches and excessive hair. Lots of places sell variations of this item, including Bed Bath & Beyond!

And there you have it! No more excuses for why you missed your pup while Christmas shopping. Good luck picking which item(s) to give!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
