Dogs are a man's best friend, but in my case, my only best friend. Dogs will never leave you, betray you and are great listeners. Dogs are the best cuddle buddies on days when you don't feel like going out to party. When you leave your dog to go to college or on a trip, it is always so sad and you cannot wait to return to them. At the end of the day, all you want to do is lay down and snuggle up next to your pup. Dogs are better than humans, and for that reason, they hold a special place in my heart. So here are six signs you're definitely a dog lover:
1. You Talk To Them
Whenever you're upset, you turn to your dog and question what is wrong with the world. Why do I have no friends? Why did I just fail my math test ? Why do I have to go to work ? It's okay, don't answer me, just hug me and love me.
2. You Apologize To Them
Whenever you accidentally run into them because you didn't know they were there, you automatically feel like the worst person ever. Apologizing to them and begging them not to hate you may be a little far fetched, but you pretend they understand anyways.
3. You Want To Take Them Everywhere
Even just going to the store for an hour is the saddest thing ever. Having to look at their face when you leave is just heartbreaking. No one will ever be that said for you to be gone for an hour besides your dog, and that's just another reason to love them.
4. Going To College And Leaving Is Hard
When you count down the days until you come home and see your dog again is when you know you are beyond obsessed. Sometimes you just miss their presence and having someone that enjoys you 24/7. When you walk in the door after not seeing them in months is easily the happiest experience ever.
5. You Have An Album Dedicated To Them
Having pictures in your phone from when they were a puppy to when they started turning grey calls for a special album. Looking back on photos when they were a puppy makes you so happy with how cute they were. Having your dog look at the camera when you take a picture of them is always satisfying. Besides, you love to show people your furry companion wherever you go.
6. They Are Your Wallpaper
Taking cute pictures of your dog is a must. Setting that picture as your wallpaper is another must. Seeing their picture whenever you check the time on your phone can easily make your day.
7. When You See Dogs At Parties...
When the owner of the party has a dog, you immediately flock to it and start petting it. You know the dog will be just as happy to see you as you are to see them.
