This Saturday (10/27/18) I will gain a husband and had a party with all the people that I love. Marriage is a huge commitment and you gain a best friend that will walk with you through life. Marriage is a huge industry and it's a tough industry to thrive in both on the business and emotion. Companies will jack up the price on something that is seen as trendy at a wedding. That's why D.I.Y weddings are the best but are by far the most stressful. My mom and my maid of honor have been with me since day 1 and they are getting more and more exhausted as the day comes.

I can't wait to put on a pretty dress, and a flower crown to walk down the aisle to my love. Planning a wedding that is nontraditional has its hardships. I didn't know where to look for who can marry us because of the nature of my fiance and I's relationship. In the end, I was very lucky to have a family friend who is open and loves us to be the one to marry us.

Whenever I could, I would go up to Neptune beach (my hometown) to go shopping with my mom for fake pumpkins to decorate and other fall decors. We have enough pumpkins to send one home with each person coming to the wedding. Part of my bridal shower, the ladies took their time and decorated a pumpkin to have their mark on the wedding. It touches my heart that people I love are able to have their touch on my fiance and I's wedding.

D.I.Y. (Do it yourself) weddings can be expensive and time-consuming, but in the end are so worth it. You have a picturesque wedding that is unique and your own. When you get engaged and even before then, it's always a great idea to search Pinterest to get inspiration. My maid of honor used to be a wedding planner and always says that it's better to search through Pinterest and the internet for ideas than to go to a wedding planner empty-handed. I didn't go to a wedding planner, but I was lucky to have one as a best friend/maid of honor. For parties, I would always go D.I.Y. especially if you like something out of the norm that would cost you a pretty penny from other companies.

Your wedding should be the happiest day of your life. It should be your vision and your fairytale, but it can also be the most stressful day at that time. Having a D.I.Y wedding adds to the stress twice fold because you have to do everything yourself. The day will be beautiful and unique to you, but it can add a few grey hairs to everyone involved. I will always recommend doing a D.I.Y. wedding because you have control over every last detail just be prepared to be more organized than ever.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
