DIY: T-Shirt Dress

DIY: T-Shirt Dress

T-shirt dresses seem to be the new go-to outfit for a night out in college. They are trendy, flattering, easy to wear and extremely comfortable. Just throw on the dress, a pair of high socks and you are good to go. The only downsides to the t-shirt dress are that they are hard to find and they can be expensive. So here are some easy steps to make your own!

What you will need:

  • An oversized, men's graphic t-shirt (I bought an XXL from Target for $10)
  • Fabric scissors
  • Blue masking tape or pins

Step 1: Lay out your shirt on a flat surface, then carefully fold the shirt in half and make sure all the fabric is evenly laid out.

Step 2: Get your blue masking tape or pins and make a line down the side of your shirt where you are going to cut, and then cut straight down the line.

Step 3: Wear it out and get ready to have all your friends compliment you the whole night!
