Disney's "World Of Color" adventure

Although the size of Disney land in California is smaller than the Disney World in Florida, there are some awesome attractions that Disney World does not provide but Disneyland only does, which is the magnificent waterworks display: World of Color.

World of Color is a colorful display of waterworks that create scenes from famous Disney films and moves according to the music from Disney orchestral suites and films. If you see this display, your reaction will totally be "how does Disneyland do this?" It is as if by magic!

Yes, magical is definitely another word to describe this beautiful display, other than colorful. I have remembered only watching this waterworks show of 2017 through YouTube because I have heard that this is one of the most popular attractions to see in Disneyland. This waterworks show only starts when the day finally turns to evening. According to the YouTube video, the harmonic chorus singing, in the beginning, catches your attention with the twinkling lights, and Tinker Bell appearing next to an inspirational quote by Walt Disney fades, and then it settles down into an echoing sensation of soft notes. At the same time, the Mickey Mouse Ferris Wheel suddenly lights up in the brightest of colors. Then, an angelic voice starts singing in whispering chants and echoes the words "the world is a carousel of color..." which gives me a feeling of fascination, which allures me into wanting to watch and enter into the "World of Color." Accompanying the song, the colorful waterworks fly up and spray into a beautiful dance to start off the show.

After the "World of Color Theme" song ends, it immediately displays scenes from the films as well as songs of Disney such as "Part of Your World," "Under The Sea," "A Whole New World," "So Close," and etc. giving the audience the sense of nostalgia and feelings of being in awe.

This waterworks event is a recommended, especially for all Disney lovers! Even though I have seen this show in the YouTube video, I heard that the view is better when the show is happening right in front of you! If anyone wants to go to Disneyland, please put this event on your list to go see! It is the perfect show to end a day in Disneyland. You cannot miss this beautiful waterworks!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
