10 Underrated Movies On Disney+ That You Should Watch

All of these movies may not be popular, but they are certainly as good, if not better than all your favorite classics such as The Lion King or The Little Mermaid.

Return to Oz

Giphy

This quirky and slightly terrifying sequel to The Wizard of Oz has always been one of my favorites. It was made in the '80s and it has some very interesting characters, to say the least. Just a warning, The princess with the collection of heads may traumatize you for life.

The Black Cauldron

Giphy

Although I consider this movie to be a true Disney classic, it's often overlooked. I was really glad to see this movie on Disney+ because it was one of my favorites when I was smaller. Gurgi, the little furry sidekick of the main character, Taran, is just about the cutest thing I've ever seen!

Bedknobs and Broomsticks

Giphy

If you knew me, you'd know that I'm obsessed with musicals, so how could I leave out this iconic musical? This magical movie from 1971 will make you feel like a child every time you watch it! Plus, who doesn't like Angela Lansbury?

Thumbelina

Giphy

This charming little movie about a girl the size of your finger has always been one of my favorites. Plus, I'm a sucker for cheesy child-like romance and silly songs, and this movie has it all!

The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad

Giphy

If you've ever been to Disneyland, you've probably been on Mr. Toad's Wild Ride, but have you ever watched the movie it's based on? This silly story about a crazy toad and a headless horseman is a must-see.

James and the Giant Peach

Giphy

James discovers a giant peach in his garden, that is filled with slightly terrifying (but loving) human-sized bugs who help him to escape from his cruel home life. It's an absolute must-see!

The Country Bears

This adorable and cheesy movie is about a young boy (or bear) who sets out on a journey to get his favorite country band back together. It's truly an odd, but still heartwarming movie that everyone should watch. Also, I couldnt find a GIF from the movie, so I thought Smokey and Dolly would be a sufficient replacement.

Meet the Robinsons

This movie will take you on a journey to 2037 to a magical world of dogs that wear glasses and talking dinosaurs. The animation may be odd and slightly scary, but this movie is truly a gem.

Atlantis: The Lost Empire

Giphy

When you were little, you probably had a crush on Milo Thatch, which is completely understandable considering hes the cutest cartoon boy I've ever laid eyes on. Other than the eye candy, this thrilling movie takes you on a journey through the exploration of sea, and its quite amazing.

The Tigger Movie

I couldn't possibly end this list without mentioning my favorite gang from the Hundred Acre Wood. In this movie, Tigger is on a mission to find his family, and the outcome is definitely heartwarming.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
