Having the power to believe in your dreams is definitely a start but it goes far beyond that in so many ways. Having the courage to be strong in yourself and desire to go after life, also just begins to break the surface. Walt Disney was a man of so many visions and he didn't let defeat break the beauty in what he saw. That is what and who I strive to be each and everyday.
And we have so many great things to thank this man for, it's insane. First off, look at these mice, just look at them...my heart is melting. They are the cutest example of love. If only we adored the little things more.
Rather you are one to argue which park is better, or if you even enjoy being in a Walt Disney Park and Resort at all, you can never deny the beauty that is these castles each and every sunset around the world. What a gorgeous piece of architecture these are, standing as icons for parks that let people escape from their reality and believe in fairytales once again. It truly is magic having an opportunity to stand in front of one of these many creations. It is something I will never take for granted.
Taking a step back from the parks for a moment, there are memories to be had while watching Disney movies as well. I know me personally, I have my favorites, but it's no denying that they all capture us in different ways. Many people who don't obsess over Disney like myself often miss the lessons to be learned behind these many films. These are the kinds of teachings I want my future children to grow up watching and experiencing; finding love in a favorite character that represents so much positive, singing along to songs that instill joy and laughter, and believing in their dreams. It's something now even as an adult, I look to for inspiration, so for those of you who simply look at these things as "childish", you are the ones who need to do the growing up.
The theming is out of this world, and is like no other resorts anywhere on the planet. If you truly want an immersive experience, that puts you in a storyline and makes you truly believe you are there, than look no further. You are entering a place where your family can always enjoy their time together even when they get back to the hotel, and that Disney "magic" will never leave. Plus look, they are breathtaking.
There is something so heart warming about the idea of being a child once again, laughing and playing, just having moments to break away from the crazy roller coaster of life - on an actual roller coaster of course. Besides, who doesn't want to go 0 to 55mph in approximately four seconds meeting drops and inversions at each turn? Its a pretty accurate example of how I like to de - stress.
Every year people visit the Disney parks as their way of celebrating so many amazing moments or achievements, and Disney often goes above and beyond to recognize these. Simply wishing someone a Happy Birthday or taking an interest in what they are celebrating can make those experiences all the more magical.
Now characters, thats a whole other chapter in this book of why I love Disney so much. But there is so much to be said about the personalities and lessons that each and every Disney character represents. For example, my main girl, Pocahontas. There is such beauty in the land around you which often not seen so immensely, and I truly feel she captures that and teaches all to love the world in such a unique way. Then there is this, "You think the only people who are people are the people who look and think like you. But if you walk the footsteps of a stranger, you'll learn things you never knew you never knew." If only we as real life humans could think like this, who could believe such strong thoughts could come from and animated film....

Also, if you haven't ever had one of these delicious concoctions from Sleepy Hallow in the Magic Kingdom, you haven't lived. This is reason alone to become a Disney fan, and for those who have, you would agree.
Then stuff like this happens at every corner, and your white girl comes out, and you literally...just can't handle it. The magic is everywhere.
Okay, okay I know...I am being absurd. But, just look at how adorable this is. You can't tell me that at this moment you wouldn't awww.
But past all the cute moments, there is just something so unique about what this company has to offer in and outside the theme parks. It creates a sense of passion in people they didn't know they had before, you become your own little family of fans alike, and you truly believe that your dreams can come true. So here is to all of those cliches of faith trust and pixie dust, but I hope you all can see the magic that has captured me, and you too can take on the happiness that comes with Disney and all its wonder.
