My favorite Disney movies and What I Think About Them

Disney Movies: My Top 10 Favorites
Disney

I’ve always loved Disney movies ever since I was a kid. Like every kid, I have my favorites. I’ve made a list of all of my favorite Disney movies, and here they are!

Hercules:

Okay, so Hercules is my absolute FAVORITE Disney movie of all time! Anyone who goes to LEC with me and knows me well enough that there are some weeks that I watch it at least 4-5 times per week. It got me through some rough times during my freshman years’ fall semester. If I could recommend any Disney movie, it’d be Hercules.

Pirates of the Caribbean (ALL OF THEM):

So this is the absolute BEST series of all time. I’ve been obsessed with it since I was in elementary school. I don’t think I’ve ever been more obsessed over any Disney series than this one before. I don’t care that it was based off of a theme park ride. In my opinion, it’s the best series out there.

Up: I just adore this movie. Every time I watch it, I cry. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I love the animation of it and the whole idea behind it. It’s definitely one of the better movies that they’ve made recently.

Mulan:

Ever since I was a kid, I was obsessed with this movie. I’d watch it multiple times a day and I never got tired of it (although my I’m sure my parents did). I remember watching it every day and trying to act it out, jumping off the couches and acting like I was fighting along side her.

The Lion King:

This movie is almost everyone’s favorite disney movie. In my opinion, it’s better than the other Lion King movies that they’ve come up with. It’s a great movie and I do love it. I just don’t think it’s the best (sorry, not sorry).

101 Dalmatians:

I was just a little girl when I started watching this movie. It was one of the first Disney movies that I’ve ever seen. I loved it so much that I had 101 Dalmatians birthday parties and I even dressed up as a dalmatian for Halloween! This is definitely an all-time favorite.

WALL-E:

OKAY, so this movie brought tears to my eyes in the first 30 minutes. I don’t know what it was about it, but I loved every single second of it. Whatever this movie has, other movies need it because it’s got so many good ideas, good graphics and a fantastic plot line.

Inside Out:

When I saw this movie in theaters, it topped my list on my all-time favorites. I loved every moment and it made both me and my boyfriend cry. It was definitely one of the best Disney movies I’ve seen. I loved it so much, I WENT BACK TO SEE IT AGAIN FOR A SECOND TIME. It’s a great movie that I highly recommend!

A Bug’s Life:

As a kid, this movie scared the life out of me. I guess that’s why I have an irrational fear of any and all types of bugs. I’m actually extremely afraid of bugs because of this movie and it’s always been in my head. I actually saw this once at night when I was much younger and I remember freaking out because I thought that the big bugs were going to come after me.

Frozen:

Okay, I saw this movie once and the message is completely true. Women don’t need men to be happy or successful in life. It’s up to them to lead the life that they want and don’t need to worry about anyone else’s opinions.

Alright, this is only a small list of my favorite Disney movies and only a super small portion of ALL of my favorite movies out there. These are only my opinion, but if you have the same opinion as me, then please share! I hope you enjoyed my opinions on my top 10 Disney movies!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
