We currently live in a world that is so dark, cruel, and hateful towards others. Unfortunately, it makes some people question the meaning of life because it's rather negative all the time. In order to perk up everyone's spirits (and honoring Walt Disney's birthday that was on December 5), I've compiled 25 life lessons deriving from movies of Disney and Disney Pixar!

1. Hakuna Matata

It's a wonderful phrase!

2. Just Keep Swimming

It also helps that Dory is played by Ellen DeGeneres so...

3. The past will hurt, but we have to move on

Rafiki is filled with wisdom, so taking his advice is a must!

4. Outer looks aren't everything

Even though Adam at the end of the movie is somewhat of a catch, he has a splendid heart!

5. Lying is bad

I mean, just look at that nose!

6. If the shoe fits, wear it

Some shoes even fit perfectly!

7. Some people are worth melting for

It's a great feeling when you find those people.

8. True friends will always stick together

"You've got a friend in me."

9. You can always achieve the biggest things, even when you're small

If bugs can achieve big things, anything is possible!

10. Never take family for granted

Because family is awesome!

11. Don't judge others without knowing who they truly are

Basically, don't judge a book by its cover in Disney form.

12. All dreams are possible

After all, a dream is a wish your heart makes.

13. There is such a thing as unconditional love

#relationshipgoals

14. Let it go

You don't need all that negativity consuming your life.

15. The grass is greener on the other side

***SPOILER ALERT*** The other side is where Rapunzel's true parents were!

16. Stand for what you believe in, and fight for it

Be a man (or woman..)!

17. Enjoy the ride of life

It's a roller coaster, that's for sure!

18. Embrace your inner child

Who doesn't enjoy being twenty going on two?

19. Listen to your heart, but stay true to yourself

Go with your gut!

20. Acknowledge and accept your differences

Because everyone's differences are what makes them beautiful!

21. Ohana

No one is left behind or forgotten.

22. Despite the cruel world around you, you have the ability to make a great future.

(Refer to 14, it correlates nicely).

23. It's okay to have feelings, both good and bad.

Emotions are actually a wonderful thing, even when they are bad!

24. Be brave and face your future

You never how how good what's ahead of you can be until you go discover it for yourself.

25. No one is perfect, but be the best you that you can be

Because at the end of the day, you is all you can be!

There you have it: 25 life lessons people can take with them from some of the happiest but meaningful movies ever made. These are some vital life lessons that everyone should keep close to their hearts as they walk through this hard life. Keep smiling!

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
