I know plenty of people have written stories about The Disney College Program, but I'd like to share my journey with you.

When I was little, I wanted to be a Disney princess -- all my life from the time I actually understood television -- I have watched, loved and been obsessed with Disney, Disney Channel, and all the different things that go into the category.

Well now I'm in the second year of college and doing what college students do. I was searching the internet, and I stumbled across the Disney Professional Internship.

So, I was extremely interested. A few weeks later, my friends and I went out for two of their birthdays (the twins, C and S). I mentioned it to them, and to my greatest surprise, C was interested too. We decided we would apply together in Spring 2019 for Fall/Fall Advantage 2019.

So, if you've never heard of the program, it's the best thing ever -- at least in my opinion. You get to live on Disney property and work for them while sometimes hanging out with some of your favorite characters. You get the opportunity to earn money and take classes. In all honesty, it is one of those places where they do not want to fail.

So, as my initial application is due in a year, I started to research, and let me tell you something: there is too much information out there on the subject. A lot of people have pros and cons, but many people all agree it's what you make it.

C and I have watched so many Youtube videos, we haven't even applied and it's already scaring us half to death. Who's to say this isn't going to be the best and most life-changing thing to happen to us?

They say the application process is a lot of work. It's being careful about what you say, and it is an extremely long waiting game. Prepping yourself for the entire application process is a long road.

You have to update your resume to make sure you remember everything you have done in your lifetime. There is finding out the best way to fill out your Web Based Interview. You don't want to mess that up or you won't make it to the final round. From what I've heard, in the final round, the Phone Interview is the roughest of the rough because there are plenty of things that can go wrong,

Anyway, I am so excited to start this journey. You guys won't be alone for the ride -- this is only the beginning!

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
