I've lived in Delaware pretty much all of my life. People find it fascinating that I live in this state. Seriously, people think living in this state is so unique, like a rare artifact. Actually, it's the complete opposite. However, living in this small state does have its perks.
1. Everyone knows each other.
I kid you not; people literally know your entire family tree. It's weird.
2. There's no sales tax.
3. Aubrey Plaza went to my high school (Ursuline Academy).
I guess that's cool.
4. And Elena Delle Donne.

5. We have a sick university.
The University of Delaware—people call it UDEL. No.
6. Vice President Joe Biden is from Delaware.
7. Bob Marley worked in the old Chrysler factory in Newark, Delaware.
Casual.
8. We have the best coffee shops, hands down.
9. We have legendary pizza all across the state.
10. The University of Delaware was featured on "I'm Shmacked."
So I guess that's something for the state to put into its books.
11. We have some cool beaches.
Seriously, they're better than California's. Actually, not really. #Dewey #Rehoboth
12. Last but not least, we can't forget that Wilmington is voted the most dangerous city across the United States.

Overall, this small state has a lot of character. I seriously could go on about other unique things this state has to offer. This state is strange but that's what makes it unique. The next time you're driving on I-95, stop by!
