I like to think of myself as an ice cream connoisseur and between Breyers, Edy’s and Ben & Jerry’s, it’s obvious who has the best selections. But with so many Ben & Jerry’s flavors, I find myself standing in the ice cream aisle with my boyfriend begging me to hurry way too often. Next time you’re in a time crunch and craving an ice cream that uses non-GMO ingredients, cage-free eggs and Fair Trade ingredients, simply refer to this list and pick one of the best flavors out there!

6. Cherry Garcia

Mom approved and often overlooked by the novice ice cream selector, Cherry Garcia is a force to be reckoned with. Named after famous guitarist Jerry Garcia, this cherry ice cream is combined with cold cherries and just the right amount of fudge flakes to give your taste buds a rockin’ good time. It’s even offered as FroYo!

5. Coffee, Coffee BuzzBuzzBuzz!

Why drink hot coffee in the summer when you can keep coffee ice cream with espresso fudge chunks in your freezer? This delightful flavor will curb your coffee cravings while giving you a burst of energy to last you until your next pint. Wake up to this delicious blend of coffee and crunchy espresso and crave it all day (so you better buy two just to be safe).

4. Phish Food

Named after the band Phish, this flavor not only tastes amazing but supports the WaterWheel Foundation to clean up Lake Champlain’s watershed in Vermont. With chocolate ice cream, gooey marshmallow swirls, sweet caramel swirls, and yes, fudge fish, this flavor will bring out your inner child in one bite. So go ahead, eat the whole pint.

3. Half Baked

Ben & Jerry knew what they were doing when they came up with Half Baked®. With brownies coming from New York’s Greyston Bakery, this ice cream aids in providing training and jobs to low-income Yonkers, New York residents, with every purchase. It’ll taste good and make you feel good with the perfect blend of chocolate and vanilla ice cream, gobs of chocolate chip cookie dough and delicious fudge brownies.

2. Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough

If you’re looking for a simple vanilla ice cream that packs a lot of flavor, look no further than Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough. This fan favorite has been on the scene since 1984 and has reigned with its’ gobs of delightful chocolate chip cookie dough. You won’t be disappointed with this bite of legendary ice cream.

1. The Tonight Dough

Celebrate with Jimmy Fallon as he provides us with this wonderful ice cream. What better way to commemorate his “Entertainer of the Year” award and completion of his first full season of The Tonight Show? One bite and you’re going to have a very unhealthy obsession on your hands. It’s got it all: caramel ice cream, chocolate ice cream, caramel swirl, chocolate chip cookie dough gobs (yes, GOBS), and wait for it…peanut butter cookie dough gobs. And the best part? All the proceeds go to the non-profit organization SeriousFun Children's Network. So grab your party hat and pick up a pint.

So if you’re ever still stuck in the freezer aisle over which flavor to choose try eeny, meany, miny, moe! I am sure you won’t be disappointed.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
