Dear Sunshine,


I literally don't know what I would do without you. People say that a lot, but I honestly have no idea. I know I met you very recently but we have become so close. I am blessed and proud to call you one of my best friends. Having you around means I have somebody I can go to whenever I need someone. Knowing that I have someone like you means the world to me. You let me rant, cry, smile, laugh, and love without even thinking twice. I trust you with my whole heart and soul. Every text and snapchat you send me make me smile.


You are such a light in my life which is part of the reason I call you sunshine. The other reason is because you are always smiling and positive. You know exactly what to say and when to say it. You give good advice, you smile, and you make everyone feel happy. Your smile and your laughter is contagious. If it weren't for you, I don't know how I would have made it through this semester.


I look forward to all of our adventures next semester and throughout life because I refuse to ever let you go.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
