To my sometimes annoying, occasionally embarrassing, always amazing parents...thank you. Thank you for teaching me right from wrong, for supporting me with all that I do, and for showing me immense love even when its not always deserved.
It's fair to say, I can be quite the pain in the ass sometimes. I'm stubborn and like to learn from my own mistakes. But I admit Im not always the easiest to handle, especially in the height of my eating disorder. I was not the easiest person to be around, but thank you for never giving up on me.
Thank you mom for all the tears you've wiped from my face. Whether it be from dumb girl drama, even dumber boy drama, or even ED taking its toll on me; you are always my shoulder to lean on. I hope you know ill always be here for you just like you are for me.
We have had our fair share of fights, maybe even more than id like to admit, but at the end of the day my love for you is endless.
You have taught me through your actions, that giving back to the world by helping others is the most rewarding thing in life. You are always doing good deeds and brightening the lives of others. I can only hope that I can make half the difference in this world that you do.
On those days in which the battle feels too hard, you're always there to remind me, im fighting for more than myself. I'm fighting to help others do the same, that's what keeps me going. Your push, your words, your support; keeps me going. So thank you mom for being the one-and-only you.
On to you Padre. If only I knew where to start. If you haven't realized yet, you're my role model, I look up to you. Never have I ever met a man so hardworking, determined, thoughtful, kind-hearted, intelligent, and brave as you are. Everything you do is done with such effort and perseverance, its truly incredible. Despite your outstanding work ethic, your tremendous heart is what is truly so inspiring. You are always putting other people before your self and always choosing to lend a helping-hand.
You're my voice of reason, and always there when I need advice. You know how to take a step back and look at things from both sides of the story, a fair perspective that many lack.
Dad, incase you haven't noticed, your not the most emotional individual out there, but on the rare occasion when you do decided to say “ love you Sambam", I know you mean it. So thank you.
Thank you for loving me even when my rooms a mess, when I pester you to get a dog, and even when my doctors appointments seem to take over your life instead of just my own.
Thank you both for being the most incredible people I know. I am blessed to have you two as my parents and honored to be able to call you, Mom and Dad.
Love Always,
Your little girl <3
