Your daydreams follow you everywhere,
Caressing your mind while you sit upon a stair,
It's hard to respond with a simple yes or no,
When tempting thoughts trail behind you everywhere you go.
You could ramble on poetically about anything,
Or find the courage to use your voice and sing,
But when you attempt to see through the veil of your fantasies,
You get caught up in your world of mysteries.
It's difficult to say what you mean
When your desires are bursting at the seams.
