“A life devoid of love is a flower blooming in the wilderness, with nobody to enjoy its fragrance”
It is valentine day yet again in a new year. Sorry single folks today is not your day, you have spring break all to yourself but for the lovers out there, by calculations if you have been following the rules, today is just another day in the life you and your lover. Let me explain.
If you are doing things right every day is then your valentine. You don’t need a special day, as such Valentine’s day of symbolic meaning to lovers. A time to access the inner feelings of your heart strings, playing its tune and listening, remembering the heart pounding, the sweaty palms, shaking hands, butterflies in your stomach the day you cast your dreamy eyes on the one who today is now your lover. Recreating those days, which is what, makes your bond and affection stronger. By reflecting on those memories created between you and your lover in harmony, you enter the deeper cathedral of love bareheaded and reverent in the companionship of your lover. The harmony lies in the singular balance of the V letter in Valentine. The V is a symbol for a crossing of strange heart beats to become one in the same rhythm, the perfect symphony of balance where two hearts become star spangled in cupid’s charm. Thus is the purpose of Valentine. Hence, the earlier statement ‘by my calculations if you have beeg following the rules, today is just another day in the life you and your lover.’ The rules I talk of are the undertaking and conversations of both you and your lover in the so many hours you logged in together in the company of the other. So tehrefo0re on this Valentine’s Day, reassess the meaning of your love for your lover with doses of unity and simplicity as your opiate to be administered. In unity and simplicity hearts beat like one and are simple minded. It doesn’t have to be some grandiose display of love but a gesture of memory reminding them of the sweaty palms and heartache when you cast your eyes on them on that special day. It is not a day to scramble for what gift to treat your lover or what restaurant to got to because you have been doing that all along and your lover knows that as it a culmination of all things you.

For the single men and women out there is hope for you. You could start with a book from a fellow student to understand excerpts of the realm of love and what is entailed in stealing a heart from an upcoming Dons author Nicole Jenkins book. How to Steal A Heart.
For the hopeless romantics out there, and the lonely heart whose hope, emotions and chances at love day by day fade, diminish, ebb and float away to a petering end. Know that you are not alone in being alone as you wander in the wilderness of a love.
