"Brooke Davis is gonna change the world someday." Amazing author Lucas Scott once said.

We all have our moments in life where we need a little pick me up, and who better to pick us up off our feet than the one and only B. Davis? Brooke has overcome her past self and turned into a confident and courageous young woman right before our eyes (in the 187 episodes) throughout the years. Personally, I don't know who wouldn't aspire to be her. And here is why...

Brooke was wise.

"And once you lose yourself, you have two choices: find the person you used to be... or lose that person completely...."

"Someone once said; "It's the good girls who keep diaries. The bad girls never have the time." Me? I just wanna live a life I'm gonna remember, even if I don't write it down."

Brooke put all of our emotions into words.

"I wanted you to fight for me. And tell me that you would rather be alone than with anyone else!"

Even if she wasn't your favorite, you have to admit she knew how to all of the OTH watchers to relate on an emotional level.

Brooke was beautiful on the inside, not just on the out.

"So you're probably looking at this and making fun of my outfit, right? Anyway here's all you really need to know about today; if... you're fat, dumb, sexual and a guy, you're OK. If you're a girl, not so much. Please tell me that's changed in the future & somebody please tell me you've got love figured out, because I got news for you; it's pretty darn messy right now. But I guess it has always been that way. Wanting to be loved, to find somebody that makes your heart ache in a good way... feel understood. So... if you're robots, or aliens, or something and you're watching this right now and that feeling no longer exists; well,... you missed it...and I feel sorry for you. 'Cause as far as I can tell, that's what it's all about. And that's what I know it should be about"

Brooke was humorous in the darkest of times.

"We're young, we're fine... let's do some damage!"

"Hoes over bros, clothes over bros & hoes over psychos."

Brooke was affectionate, yet concealed.

"At the end of the day, you are who you are, and it's probably who you've always been."
“If you had a friend you knew you’d never see again, what would you say? If you could do one last thing for someone you love, what would it be? Say it, do it, don’t wait. Nothing lasts forever.”

Brooke was the friend we all needed, even when she didn't have to be.

"First you're gonna let go. Now were going to sit, and you are going to cry on my shoulder for as long as you need to."
"Don't cry for a guy, let a guy cry for you. Cause girls give and forgive, but guys get and forget."

Brooke Davis went from being the bitch in high school that no one liked, to being hurt by a guy and creating her own clothing line, being successful without a man in her life and a mother. She was beaten up, stolen from, lied to and pushed around in so many ways but still managed to be the girl we all aspire to be. And not to mention, she's a complete bad ass in real life.

Heres to you B. Davis.

Sincerely,

All of the OTH fans.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
