My mom is one of my best friends. She is the first person I run too when something goes wrong. I blow up her phone when she does not reply to me in -25 seconds. She never gets too annoyed with me no matter how much I beg for money and she always makes things happen, no matter how demanding I get. I can talk to her about anything and even though she sometimes complain that I am a little too open for her, I would not change our relationship for the world.

As much as I love our closeness, I can always rely on her to set me straight also. I am careless with money and she always sets me straight about that. She keeps me updated on every doctors' appointment that I need, and makes sure I get all my prescriptions on time. Every time I come home from college, I get all of my favorite meals and get treated to Fancy's and Grandy's. I am so fortunate to have someone who provides for me as much as my mom does, but is also one of my best friends.

I also know that my mom worries about me, A LOT. We do not go a day without talking. I recently mentioned studying a semester abroad and she replied to me, "I am not ready." I recently dressed up as my mom for Halloween. Everyone dresses up as their hero or favorite character of the time, and the most important person in my life will always my mom. Well, I just wanted to dedicate this article to her to tell her a few things:

1) I would not trade you for anything in the world

2) I am much stronger than you think

3) I will do everything in my power to make you proud of the daughter you have raised

4) My strength has come from watching you overcome everything life has thrown at you. You are one of the most inspiring women I know

5) You are my very best friend, and I cannot wait to see you at the end of the month :)

Thank you for being the most amazing, the most inspiring, and the most influential person in my life. You have given me the life people dream of having, and I would not trade you for the world. Your love for your family and the people around you have taught me how to love unconditionally. You are the most selfless woman I know, and you never hesitate to put anyone else above yourself. You do not receive enough credit for all of the things you do, but everyone's life is better is because you are in it!
