Ambitious women are becoming the norm. With many ladies deciding that college is the best option for them, calling a woman Doctor is no longer strange. Many women are discouraged from choosing school over getting married and making a family so to those who choose to be with ambitious women, I salute you.
Ambitious women come in all shapes and sizes. They can be found working hard and doing what needs to be done. The ones that consistently date these ladies need to know a few things.
1. You will be pushed.
She will love you fiercely. That will include being pushed to be your best. She strives to do her best and you better believe she needs a comparable partner.
2. She will be busy
Being ambitious sometimes includes working two jobs, cleaning, cooking and going to school full-time. This doesn't leave much time for a relationship but she will find it. If she is determined to be with you, she will be. Because she is ambitious of course.
3. She likes to be encouraged.
Although it seems like her motivation is self-made, she appreciates being encouraged and acknowledged for her accomplishments. She works hard and a little word of reassurance that her hard work is noticed is nice.
4. She might be blunt.
She doesn't have time to beat around the bush (see #2) so she will tell you when there's an issue. She likes for things to get done so resolving problems in the relationship will be a priority. She knows the importance of good communication and isn't afraid to use it.
5. She will hold you accountable.
She won't put up with disrespect, canceled plans or ghosting. If she is making time for you, know that it is valuable time that could be spent elsewhere in her very busy life, but she carved it out for you. She will call you on wasting her time with flakiness.
6. She won't be easily impressed.
Oh, you bought new tires for your truck? How will that help you to be a better person? How does that further you in your career? She won't be impressed by simple things. Beautiful, inspirational ideas impress her. Mindless chatter and material goods won't do the trick.
7. She will commit.
Her ambitious nature pushes her to be the best. She will be the best partner. She will give you what you need and she will be there for you 100%. She doesn't want to be the second-best girlfriend you've ever had. She will strive for #1.
8. She won't wait for you.
If you're the type that won't commit, she won't mind. But don't expect her to wait for you. She'll move on without a second thought. If you were the right one for her, you would commit.
9. She doesn't want to be barefoot and pregnant.
Although many ambitious women will want to have children one day, being a housewife isn't their end goal. She did not spend 6+ years in college to sit at home. She will want to work and use her education.
