Hollywood celebrated it’s finest on February 28th and, as always, there was plenty to feast our eyes on, at least from the viewer's perspective. Although the Academy Awards are dedicated to celebrating the best dramatic, directorial and technical achievements made in film, there was of course a lot of emphasis placed on the fashion of the night. As expected, pretty much every celebrity in attendance delivered, arriving in the most elegant and frequently outrageous ensembles.

1. Emily Ratajkwoski

Fashion model, Emily Ratajkwoski, oozed crazy sex appeal in this black, sheer strapless mermaid gown. The main fragment of the dress appears to look like an old-fashioned swimsuit, and the sheer part appeared to be an added layer piece, which hits at her waist and reaches down to her feet, where it flared out at the bottom. She was giving us major #legsfordays in this piece.

2. Brie Larson

Brie Larson, now an Academy-award winning actress, wore a sweet, salmon colored off-the shoulder dress. Her look is completed, of course, with her Oscar in hand.

3. Sara Sampaio

Portuguese model, Sara Sampaio, wore a lovely long-sleeved couture gown designed by Zuhair Murad. The bodice of the navy blue-purple piece was embellished with sequins and is further complimented by a red lip.

4. Miranda Kerr

Miranda was giving us major #bodygoals in this photo. Firstly, her abs are a-b-s-olutely killer and the cutouts of her red dress fit in all of the right places to compliment her slim figure.

5. Rachel McAdams

Rachel looked pretty in pink in a sparkly body-hugging halter dress designed by Naeem Khan.

6. Alicia Vikander

Alicia looked gorgeous in a sequined long-sleeved dress complimented by minimal jewelry. With her first ever Oscar in hand, this night was surely one to remember.

7. Priyanka Chopra

Priyanka Chopra, an Indian film actress, singer, and producer, among other things, was absolutely rocking this two-piece gown by Jenny Packham.

8. Hailee Steinfeld

Hailee Steinfeld is a triple threat in the industry, I mean she can act, sing and dance - is there anything she can’t do? We have yet to find out, but we doubt it. At the event, she looked ever glamorous in a sheer, black dress.

9. Gabrielle Union

Gabrielle Union is serving up some major fierceness in this LBD (little black dress), with slits coming down on either side, exposing her toned legs. Her side-swept bangs also frame her face perfectly.

10. Jessica Biel (plus the one and only, JT)

Jessica Biel looks effortlessly gorgeous and fresh-faced in a sparkly grey gown, with a wrap skirt and a strategically placed leg-baring slit.

11. Kerry Washington

In a quick turn around, Kerry Washington went from a structured Versace dress to a more relaxed, comfortable dress, with a plunging neckline, of the same designer. The added pop of yellow on the straps, makes this dress very youthful.

12. Jennifer Lawrence

America’s sweetheart, J-Law, has become an omnipresence at these events, which recognize the best in film. Here she seems to have been playing it simple, yet versatile in a fun, black two-piece with a cropped top.

13. Marisa Tomei

Bright gold is definitely Marisa Tomei’s color, as she looked effortlessly beautiful and bright in this dress designed by Marchesa Notte. The overall look is further complimented with green studs and a peach lip.

14. Diane Kruger

This sheer sequined gown with a halter neckline, designed by Reem Acra, is practically a work of art, and it looked that much more of a masterpiece worn by Diane Kruger.

15. Emilia Clarke

While this dress appeared simple on the surface, there was a particular type of beauty in its simplicity. Emilia Clarke wore the dress with grace and confidence, and of course a charming smile!

16. Margot Robbie

As always, this Aussie babe dressed to impress, and this particular night was no different. Wearing a plunging, embellished gold-colored gown she looked truly stunning.

17. Elizabeth Banks

Elizabeth Banks looked gorgeous in this Ralph & Russo gown, which was made even more breathtaking with the addition of a cape.

18. Mindy Kaling

The silhouette on this dress accentuated Mindy Kaling’s curvy figure perfectly. An impressive smoky eye, a red lip, curly and wavy hair pulled her whole look together.

19. Gwen Stefani (& Blake Shelton)

Hand-in-hand with her new fiancee, Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani was quite a sight in red. She completed the entire look with a matching red lip and clutch and a diamond bangle.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
