Have you got a case of the Mondays...or Tuesdays...or even Wednesdays? If that's the case, then I have the solution- cute animals! Hold onto your hats, folks, because you're in for the most adorable experience of your whole week.

Panda

Look, look, look! It's a panda, and it's eating a popsicle! See the full cuteness here- https://weather.com/pets/video/cute-panda-eats-popsicle

But in summary, pandas are seriously cute. They come into the world as teeny tiny pink babies roughly the size of a stick of butter, and they grow to be 900 times that size according to the National Zoo. While they're growing, they tend to melt our hearts with their adventures. Whether they're trying to climb a tree or learning what a slide is, their sense of adventure and desire to chill is endearing.

Red Panda

Red pandas are one of my all time favorite animals precisely for this face. There is nothing that fills your heart with more happiness than seeing a fluffy, furry, slightly mischievous, playful face teasing you with its full capabilities. Also, the red panda is also known as the "firefox." Plus they play in the snow. Drop everything and watch that life changing experience now- Red Pandas are Having Snow Much Fun - Cincinnati Zoo - YouTube

Otter

Squee! They're holding hands! And sleeping! Sea otters frequently utilize this adorable PDA to stick together and to ensure that they don't float away from each other while they nap.

Bush Baby

Those eyes! They're so big! And I'm not the only one that's a little bush baby obsessed. The Duke Lemur Center says that, "This furling and unfurling of the ears is occurring constantly when the animals are investigating something, and produce a very lovable, quizzical expression in the animals."

Fox

There are too many foxes to choose just one! But they're not just pretty faces! New Scientist explained that foxes use the earth's magnetic field to help it hunt for prey.

Seals

These marine mammals love to lounge around, and their huge eyes and chubby bodies will melt your heart.

Penguins

You have just viewed a penguin proposal! When trying to woo his future wife, a bachelor penguin will meticulously search for the most perfect pebble. He will then present it to his favored lady. If she accepts, she will place the pebble in her nest, and the two will make equally adorable baby penguins.

Gorillas

Did you know that gorillas make nests? And they make separate nests for their midday naps and their night time sleep?

Chameleons

Look at how little that baby is! And apparently cartoons do not lie- chameleons really do change color!

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead. You have three assignments due and little time to work on them because of your job. You’re running late because you’ve hit snooze one to many times after yesterday’s long hours. You dizzily reach for a hoodie, craving its comfort, and rush for a speedy exit, praying you will have time to pick up coffee. Does this sound familiar?

Finals week is upon us. It is a magical time of year during which college students everywhere flock to the library in attempt to learn a semester's worth of knowledge in only a week. For some students, it's their first time in the library all semester, maybe ever. Others have slaved away many nights under the fluorescent lights, and are slightly annoyed to find their study space being invaded by amateurs. While these newbies wander aimlessly around the first floor, hopelessly trying to find a table, the OGs of the library are already on the third floor long tables deep into their studies.
