Financial Boredom: (adj.) the feeling of having nothing to do because you have no money.
Every time my friends want to hang out, it either involves going out to eat, going to a concert or watching a movie. All of these cost money, unless you are sneaking into the concert and dining then dashing out the door. However, contrary to popular belief, you do not need money to have fun in Huntington, West Virginia.
On campus, there are several things Marshall students are offered that are already included with the fees they are paying. In the Student Center basement there are several ping pong and pool tables that you and your friends can go and run. Then, in the Rec Center, there are basketball courts, wally ball, a swimming pool, hot tub, whirlpool and open studios for you and your friends to use however you want. The Rec is strategically placed by the residence halls for the students to use. Those are all things that you can do any time.
