What is considered "too" much?

Having A Crush Vs. Being Creepy

Freshman year you saw this boy who you thought was so cute. You never thought you would ever have a chance with him. When you first start to like a boy it is pretty simple. You have your friends get some dirty information on him so you know what you are getting yourself into. Having a “crush” makes girls go a little insane in the membrane. Maybe your stalking and texting is creepy and annoying but hey at least your not hiding anything.

  1. You see him on campus.
  2. You add him on social media.
  3. You pray he accepts your friend request.
  4. You patiently wait for that notification.
  5. He accepts! (He knows you exist.)
  6. You stalk him on social media.
  7. You stalk him hardcore.
  8. Who is that girl in that picture he is tagged in?
  9. You look through his Instagram.
  10. Uh-oh, you accidentally like a picture he put up … eight weeks ago.
  11. You put in so much time now on everything you tweet, Insta, share on Facebook. and even your Snaphat story because you know he will see it.
  12. When you see him in public, you pretend like you don't see him, so he comes over to you first
  13. When he does come over to you and says "hey," you try and act all cool.
  14. But really, you are freaking out inside.
  15. Your friends are looking and laughing at how much you are blushing.
  16. You hope to see him when you go to certain places, just because.
  17. When you do talk to him, you sound dumb because you are so nervous.
  18. You exaggerate the littlest things to your friends that he does or says because you want to believe it is a true connection.
  19. But you will stay positive and believe it is true.
  20. Your friends will Snap you pictures of him when they see him in public like he is some sort of celebrity.
  21. You talk about him to your friends all the time but realistically, you don't know him too well. So you go by what he posts on social media.
  22. You see him talking to other girls, and instantly the song “Hide Away” by Daya comes into your head.
  23. This all may seem very creepy, but all we really want is someone who likes us just as much as we like them.

A crush may or may not actually turn into anything. If it does, that would be awesome, but one day you will find someone just as weird, goofy, fun, and crazy like you. Whoever that boy is, he will love you for you -- and god bless him!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
