So recently a crow in Vancouver has become a little famous. The crow has been causing some trouble for Vancouver police. He has been known to steel crime scene evidence and interfere with the police cars. All this among petty thief and misadventures. The notorious crow is given the name Canuck. He’s a pretty permanent fixture around the city.

According to Theguardian.com this bird’s fame started with a car explosion and a knife wielding man. After the car exploded the police began to question the man with the knife. The knife was determined to be part of the evidence. Canuck Flew past the whole crew and picked up the knife and ran with it. One of the officers was forced to chase after the bird. He had to run about 15 to 20 yards before the crow dropped the knife and took back off. This could have been expected though because Canuck was spotted on tops of the car that had exploded. The police officers did mention that the evidence was tampered with but could still be used. Even with this confusion and distractions the suspect was still able to arrested.

As mentioned before the bird has wreaked havoc before. The bird is identifiable by a red tag on his ankle. It is said the people rescued him and after he fell out of his nest. After he was restored back to health, he became well known. He stole cigarettes, keys, and lighters. He will steal anything that is shiny and that he can get his beak on. Not too much after stealing the knife he stole a computer key from the police car. The bird has become so famous that he has his own Facebook page.

Because Canuck decided to steal the knife he has been able to travel the world without leaving home! His story has been on Good Morning America, in a Taiwan and Russian newspaper. He refused to leave the man who saved him. So you will be able to keep up on his adventures threw the Facebook page. Even though he can be a bit of a pest the citizens live him, not to mention the rest of the world. Canuck has wormed his way into our hearts.
