Imagine yourself 10 years from now; what do you see? Well sadly to say, some of you will become crazy cat ladies. It is inevitable. I am here to tell you about five signs of a crazy cat lady, so you may change your ways before it is too late. But for the people who take pride in their inner cat lady, then you will get your true future reaffirmed.
1. You force your cat to snuggle with you.
Do you ever call your cat repeatedly but it looks like they want nothing to do with you? You get a little mad because they should want to be with you as much as you want to be with them. Being the lover for the two of you, you put it to yourself to reach and forcefully snuggle your cat as hard as possible. In your mind you believe they are loving every second of it (that is all in your head.) To be honest, they probably cannot stand you at this moment, but you don't care.
To put this sign to an end. Just let your cat be, I promise when they want you they will come find you.
2. You believe your cat has special traits.
Ever tell a story about your cat on how they can do something human like? Well yeah, me too. But this is most definitely a sign of crazy cat lady. In my case, I believe that my cat can understand what I say, when I say “no” it leaves me alone. The key here is to remember that your cat is just as lazy and selfish as they rest of the cats in the world. They may do cool things but they are not special.
3. You buy your cats presents on Christmas.
You complain all year about not having enough money, but of course when Christmas rolls around you have enough money to buy presents for your cat. Cats do not need presents, give them a toy, some food, and a place to sleep and they are happy. Presents are for people and I’m sorry people your cat is not human. I know this may come as a shock to you, but I promise I'm telling the truth.
4. You find yourself only having stories to tell about your cats.
I promise you after the third cat story, all your friends (if you have any left) do not care. They do not want to hear that Mr. Fluffy did something funny or learned a new “trick." Fixing this problem is simple, go outside and meet some friends, and do things that are story worthy.
5. All of your black clothes have cat hair on them and you don’t care.
Cat hair is very visible on black, and every person you pass knows that you are a cat lady. Don’t you want to make friends? Haven’t you heard the saying “dress to impress?” Who are you impressing with cat hair everywhere? Yeah, that’s right, NO ONE!
If you fit into more than three of the five signs, then you need to reevaluate your life and where you are heading. Do you want to be a crazy cat lady?!
