What I love the most about "Walls" is its simplicity. Both versions convey a deeper meaning of loving someone who heavily guards their heart. Petty's original is more upbeat and true to his brand, while the Lumineers strip it down with a simple guitar. In the Lumineers version, I discovered the message, while I was lost in the theatrics of Petty's.
P.S. Try and spot a young Jennifer Aniston in Petty's video!

"Valerie" was originally performed by The Zutons, but it was Amy Winehouse who brought the song into a new light. With the help of Mark Ronson, Amy Winehouse attacks the tune with her distinct, soulful voice, making her version much more well-known and loved.

If you asked me my all-time favorite song, I would probably say "Landslide". I love how it has stood the test of time and how raw the message is. I can't say I prefer one over the other; I just know that when I wanna sing, I go Dixie Chicks, and when I wanna listen, I gravitate toward Fleetwood Mac. I'm truly in love with this song and both versions of it.

This song is about the lengths we are willing to take for love, and how it's worth it every time. Written and originally performed by Bob Dylan, it remains as one of his most well-known songs, however, in my opinion, Adele takes the cake. She applies her strong voice to this powerful ballad, and makes it truly unforgettable.

While both versions deliver the same vibe and attitude, one is obviously far superior. The Beatles solely being The Beatles claim their dominance over this classic. Also, there is something about the way John Lennon screams "BABY" that is seriously so sexy, even 55 years later!
