The new country that is around now, some of it is s*** but there are some that isn't. Whatever happen to traditional country music the way George Strait, Conway Twitty, and George Jones and all the other major country music stars that made country music the way it should be?
Now a days we have what I like to call Pop Country, which has electric guitars and other instruments that make the music sound crappy. What happen to just the acoustic guitar, and the peddle stool guitar. Those instruments are what makes country music country music, not electric guitar and other instruments that make it sound crappy.
However the lyrics are good, they talk about the outdoors and good living, drinking, barn raising and just pretty much having a good time. But some of the artist should move to pop because of the way they are making their songs sound. George Jones, and some of the older generation of country music are probably rolling in their graves because they are what made country music music, and if they where alive today I am sure they would be upset the way that the music is playing now.
