5 Country Albums To Listen To This Fall

As the die-hard country fan that I am, I am constantly stalking iTunes and the Taste of Country website for updates on when artists will be releasing singles or new albums, or if country music has any new artists to keep an eye out for. That being said, this fall I have done some stalking and there are a lot of albums to get excited for. From classic country artists like Toby Keith releasing a new album, to new country music stars who many of you may not know like Maddie and Tae. Here are five albums being released that will get any country music fan excited!

1. Maddie & Tae's "Start Here" album is expected to be released on August 28. Two songs already released from this album are "Girl in a Country Song" and my personal favorite, "Fly." "Fly" is an inspiring song about letting go which completely contradicts the stereotypical country song about drinking beer and falling in love.

2. Brett Eldridge's "Illinois" album is expected to be released on September 11. Brett Eldridge has been one of my favorites since the very beginning when he released his first single "Raymond" over four years ago. His last album "Bring You Back" has great songs like "Beat of the Music" and "Mean to Me." You can always count on some great love songs from him. Two songs on his new album to listen to are "Lose it All" and "Just a Taste."

3. Thomas Rhett's "Tangled Up" album is expected to be released on September 25. Rhett is a rising star in country music and someone to really keep an eye on. After seeing him in concert this summer, I fell in even more love with his music. His last album, "It Goes Like This," was one of my absolute favorites with songs like "Get Me Some of That" and "Call Me Up." His music is so great because not only do all of his songs have such wonderful meaning to them, they are also upbeat and have great melodies. His most recent single was "Crash and Burn," which was one of my favorite summer songs, so be sure to look out for his new album this fall.

4. Toby Keith's "35 mph Town"album is expected to be released on October 9. As a country fan, it's impossible to not like or at least respect Toby Keith. He is such an original, singing such American songs like "American Solider," "Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue," "Red Solo Cup," and my personal favorite "God Love Her." On his new album, a song already released is "35 mph Town," and it is a classic Toby Keith song describing an American family and town.

5. Last but not least, Carrie Underwood's "Storyteller" album is expected to be released October 23. All I can say is thank you "American Idol" for discovering Carrie Underwood! From her first songs like "Jesus Take the Wheel" to her covers of songs like "How Great Thou Art," there is no denying that her voice is unbelievable and every song she sings has such beautiful meaning. Her new song from her new album that has already been released that you need to check out is "Smoke Break."

an image of taylor swift standing center stage surrounded by her backup dancers in elegant peacock esque outfits with a backdrop of clouds and a box rising above the stage the image captures the vibrant aesthetics and energy of her performance during the lover era of her eras tour

A three-and-a-half-hour runtime. Nine Eras. Eleven outfit changes. Three surprise songs. Zero breaks. One unforgettable evening. In the past century, no other performer has put on an electric performance quite like Taylor Swift, surpassing her fans ‘wildest dreams’. It is the reason supporters keep coming back to her shows each year. Days later, I’m still in awe of the spectacle ‘Miss Americana’ puts on every few days in a new city. And, like one of Taylor’s exes, has me smiling as I reminisce about the memories of the night we spent together.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
