It's that time of year again, Halloween. The one day a year where you can be anyone or anything you want to be, without facing judgement. Some may choose to go for something promiscuous or far from it. It is all determined by you (or what your friends want to go together as). Nevertheless, it's up to you.

Each year, costume ideas change and adapt to the years pop culture and fads that come with each new year.

I decided to put together a list of particularly unique or popular outfits this spooky season.

1) Clown

Maybe this is too soon? Small chance you will get beat up or shot due to recent dangerous clown sightings. But hey, it's Halloween...anyone who hurts you can pay for college. Actually, this might not be that bad of an idea.

2) Eleven from Stranger Things

She's both weird and wonderful; just put together a pink frilly dress, denim jacket, converse, striped socks, and complete it with a box of Eggo waffles!! You'll be in touch with your netflix binging problem and basically everyone who is up to date on modern media will know exactly who you are.

3) Kanye West

This one is easy...pick one of his many "iconic" outfit choices, consisting of torn up t-shirts, baggy jeans, and no expression.

4) Kate McKinnon in Ghostbusters (2016)

I personally have not seen Ghostbusters, however, I saw this picture as a part of a meme on Social Media and I thought it was glorious. Wear some funky glasses, put your hair back with big curls, a neckerchief, striped shirt, vest, and leather jacket.

5) Ed and Lorraine Warren, as depicted in Conjuring 2 (2016)

Ladies, curl your hair and put it behind your ears, wear a conservative dress/sweater and look very concerned. Men, just wear an ugly sweater, grow out the sideburns, gel your hair back, and maybe some old shoes; you too, should look concerned or frightened.

6) College Student

Just get ready and dress how you actually feel.

7) Derek and Hansel from Zoolander 2 (2016)

For Derek - purse your lips, wear a suit, gel the hair up, and really focus on your eyebrows. And for Hansel - long, luscious, blonde hair, a nice patterned button up, and matching pants. Make sure you purse your lips out, nearly in the classic "duck face."

8) Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy

This is a classic. You know exactly what to do.

9) Dory

This one is more just for those of you who don't enjoy trick-or-treating or parties on halloween, just stay inside and say you're Dory from Finding Dory (2016). Simple fix.

Good Luck & Happy Halloween!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Whether you met your new love interest online, through mutual friends, or another way entirely, you'll definitely want to know what you're getting into. I mean, really, what's the point in entering a relationship with someone if you don't know whether or not you're compatible on a very basic level?

Consider these 21 questions to ask in the talking stage when getting to know that new guy or girl you just started talking to:

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
