I don't know about you but my favorite pastime is watching terrible reality television. While I do enjoy the classics shown on 'MTV", such as "Teen Mom" and "True Life," sometimes I'm in the mood for a show with a bit more class. For that mood I switch my television to "abc" and watch "The Bachelorette." I mean who wouldn't want to watch twenty-six men from all over the country compete for the affection of one woman? If you're unfamiliar with "The Bachelorette," basically, the woman who came in second place on the most recent season of "The Bachelor" gets a second chance at love and gets to be in the shoes of the man who broke her heart. The contestants fighting for her love are vastly different. In case you're thinking of watching the show, I've made this list of the remaining contestants and compared them to classic Disney characters to help you better understand their personalities.

Wells - Max Goof

Other than their striking resemblance, Wells and Max are a lot alike. They're both shy and sweet around their crushes. Just as Max Goof struggles to talk to his crush Roxanne, Wells does the same and even passed out in front of JoJo.

Vinny - King Louie

Just like King Louie, Vinny very much does his own thing. He's curious, knowledgeable, and knows what he wants.

Robby - Thomas O'Malley

Robby reminds me of this smooth-talking cat. He is likable and ready to defend the people he cares about.

Luke - Tarzan

JoJo was quick to notice how outdoorsy Luke is. The two spent time outside chopping wood and riding in a sled pulled by dogs. Luke definitely isn't as "rustic" as Tarzan, but he still knows his way around the forest.

Jordan - Hercules

Jordan and Hercules are both the hero everyone is rooting for. From the beginning, Jordan has been a favorite both with fans of the show and with JoJo herself.

Evan - Goofy

Just like Goofy, Evan is also a single dad. Unlike Goofy, Evan is an erectile dysfunction specialist. The two can be compared in terms of their silly charm and ability to make people laugh.

Alex - Prince Eric

Alex is a marine who is ready to make JoJo fall in love. He is charming, handsome, and seems like an all around nice guy.

Christian - Timon

Like Timon, Christian is feisty. He is pretty sure of himself and is loyal to his friends and family. Christian takes care of his two younger brothers just as Timon and Pumbaa look after Simba.

Grant - Beast

Although Grant does not resemble a large and hairy creature that keeps a woman locked in a castle against her will, he does resemble Beast after he learns to love and turns back into a prince. He works as a firefighter so he is a natural protector and ready to defend JoJo.

James Taylor - Todd

James is an all-around nice guy. He sticks up for his friends and is not afraid to express how he feels.

Daniel - Banzai

Like Banzai, Daniel often doesn't think about the repercussions of his actions. He is constantly working out and is trying to improve his physical appearance.

Derek - Aladdin

Derek and Aladdin are both traditionally handsome. Their great eyebrows make them irresistible. They're also both fun-loving and extremely likable.

Chase - Mufasa

Being as Chase has a lion tattoo on his left ribs, it is only fitting he is portrayed as Mufasa. They're both courageous and strong and will do what they can to protect the ones they love.

Chad - Gaston

Although Chad is not technically a contestant on the show anymore, he has some striking similarities to Gaston. They are both obsessed with their looks. Chad is constantly working out and counting calories. Also, they are both very self confident and think every woman they meet is dying to be with them. Another similarity is how Gaston eats "five dozen eggs" This seems like quite a small quantity for Chad. Chad is often seen eating lunch meat by the pound.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
