College is supposed to be a place we go to expand our minds, figure out who we are, and make memories that will last a lifetime.

Not a place to live in utter terror.

Wherever I look, it's nothing but liberals. And their views are respected, as they should be. But make ONE comment about how the Wakandans get MLK Day and the poofsters get LGBT pride parades while us normal people never get our own celebration, and you'll be treated like a bigot. So much for a so-called "progressive" campus.

Unfortunately, even when I attempt to engage in a civil debate in the classroom, my ideas are instantly shut down. We were discussing the modern feminist movement and I presented a scientific study showing that women who identify with feminism are 90% more likely to have muffin tops. However, my citation was met with such vitriol that I ran out of the room crying.

Due to concerns about my own safety, I even went back and edited my essay to remove the line "Feminism neglects to mention evolutionary pressures making us women more inclined to be, to use a colloquialism, more 'shrewish.'"

It's come to the point where even SCIENCE offends these snowflakes.

I'm literally terrified just walking around. I've started to accept the reality that I'll never feel safe in this cruel world. It's gotten to where I don't even know what to say to appease the violent liberal mob. I'm sorry for living in a house that has a granite island! I'm sorry that our refrigerator has a touch screen! Just don't hurt me, please!

Having to apologize for coming from the race that invented things that we all take for granted -- like including dogs in wedding photos, Colbie Caillat, and gender-reveal lasagna -- makes me sick, but it's what I have to do to survive.

Times like these remind me of an old quote. "First, they put lesbians in The Legend of Korra, and I did not speak out. Then, they nominated Black Panther for Best Picture, and I did not speak out. Then, they came for me, and there was no one left to speak for me."

And the most disgusting part, the ones who are REALLY bigoted? Yeah, that would be the left. I can't tell you how many times I've seen a fellow student retweet hateful things like this.

When I saw this, I just broke down. THIS is how much they hate us. THIS is how much they want us to disappear.

But my fellow conservative students, we have to remember to stay strong and believe that one day everyone's opinions will be respected equally. No matter how dystopian our society gets, we will always have that hope to cling to.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
