People naturally crave for more,
more love, more fortune, more blessings, more praises,
And
There will always be things we never find satisfaction in,
Things to fuss about,
Things to be angry of.
But
There is beauty in taking a minute to remain unagitated,
To find composure in a turmoil,
To find a ray of compassion amidst the upheaval,
To wish for the good for others,
To speak words of kind character,
And to mean it.
To think of carrying out acts of charity, acts of love,
And to do it.
~
People fail to recall that all the "bad luck" that seems to never pass them, comes from their own decomposing virtue.
When they speak badly of others or to others,
Out of frustration,
Out of wrath,
The world punishes them,
Their anger punishes them.
Thus,
The eyes will not be sighted,
The mind does not arrive at an enlightenment, and
The heart does not find peace
~
What a heavy cross one must be carrying when the heart envies and unforgives.
Bear in mind,
The whole world is already yours when you look through the lens of gratitude.
