Whether you are with your family, your friends or your significant other, we all deal with the stress and anxiety of deciding where to eat. You don’t want to pick something your guests don’t like but you have only been to Panera, Chipotle and Raising Canes.

Or if you are on your own and you need a quick bite or just a place to study and munch on some stress food, where can you go? Which places have a mobile app? What places can you order your food ahead and then pick up. Let’s face it, anywhere that doesn’t require social interaction is a vital component of my college life.

Lincoln is just a smaller city in Nebraska, what do they really have to offer for the various audiences?

But Lincoln is trendier than you think.

Let’s cut down the time of figuring out to go-to places in Lincoln. For me, it took at least a couple months in order to find places that worked for me. It’s my goal to share with you the best places for every situation: first dates, studying, interviews, a girls night out or just a family dinner.

Tips and Tricks:

  • Go to picnicker.co and get anything in Lincoln (that is downtown) delivered to you! Whether you are at the library or you are at home not wanting to go somewhere or cook, get your favorites from the best places in Lincoln to eat. Get your Panera, Pickleman’s, Fuzzy’s, Juice Stop, Cookie Company, or even Noodles and Company delivered straight to you. This way you can stay in the warm or in your pajamas while they bring your cravings to you.
  • Go to jimmyjohns.com to order your favorite sandwich and get it freaky fastly delivered to wherever you are. You can also get those darn Salt and Vinegar Chips that are more than addicting.

As you probably know, there are 100 more restaurants, coffee shops and cafes in Lincoln. Finding a new landing spot is always fun and quite adventurous, if you ask me.

Next time when you are stressing over where to eat, suggest trying a new place. This way you aren’t technically picking something they don’t like. Plus, if it is bad, you can form a new memory together.

I am the first one to admit to not branching out of my food comfort zone. Give me a hamburger and fries and I will be fine. But while you are in the city, or currently in college, satisfy and shock those taste buds with something new.

This is a small step to officially conquering Lincoln. @ you small town folks, it’s not that scary. Just act like you know what you are doing and no one will question you ;)

I hope this helps your anxiety next time.

Let’s stop the victims of sweating in line. It's embarrassing.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
