Summer is for working, especially in college--those student loans aren’t going to pay themselves! However, it’s just as important to get out and enjoy the weather occasionally! Sometimes it’s difficult to find inexpensive, enjoyable things to do, especially when you’re a broke college student.
Fortunately, summer concerts can be affordable, especially if you opt for lawn seats. Summer can be fun, even on a budget! The XFINITY Theatre in Hartford has concerts all of the time over the summer, and is located fairly centrally in the state. Here's a list of most of the concerts available this summer, and all the information you need to attend them! Hope to see you there!

This summer won’t be boring, especially if you're able to attend one of these concerts! In order to enjoy the concert as much as possible, there are a few things that you should know.
It’s really important to hydrate beforehand, especially during the hotter days of the summer. Bring water if you can, and be sure to wear sunscreen to avoid getting burned. You don’t want to look like a tomato in all of your pictures from the concert. Bring a bag that won’t drag you down, but will still carry everything that you need, and make sure there's a pair of sunglasses in there!
Now that you have all the information that you need, it’s time to pick a concert! Bring your friends and take pictures--it will certainly be a summer to remember.
