Confessions of a College Student Shopaholic

My name is Nicolette Pizzuto and I'm an addict. A shopping addict.

As I'm writing this, I have another window open to browse for makeup, shoes even prom dresses (I have no idea why for the last one). However, I'm probably not the only one who does this. Sometimes my over-indulging in any form of shopping is to "reward" myself because I got a pretty good grade on a test or I accomplished something. Other times it's because I need retail therapy.

Whatever the reason, I'm addicted to the moment that I get a package in the mail or a shopping bag at the mall. Here are my thoughts on a normal shopping trip.

1. I only need to go to that one store to get that one thing.

2. Wait, I have to stop in there.

3. If I don't go there today, I'll have to stop in another time.

4. When you think about it, I'm saving money on gas for another trip.

5. I might as well go into this store too.

6. WAIT. They're having a sale!?

7. These NEVER go on sale.

8. I have to spend more money but I will also get a free tote.

9. MUST GET FREE TOTE.

10. I'm going to just stop in to this other store.

11. I really am saving money on gas.

12. They have shirts with cats on them.

13. Maybe I should get this for my friend's birthday.

14. But I want it too.

15. I'll just get one for each of us.

16. I mean, it's buy one get one half off.

17. If I don't use the sale it's like I'm wasting money.

18. 7 for $27 underwear!?

19. I need this.

20. I mean, no one will really see them ever but they're pretty.

21. *Proceeds to put every pair of underwear in my size in basket.*

22. Wait, what did I come here fore?

23. Maybe if I just go around the whole store maybe I'll remember.

24. Oh well, at least I got seven pairs of underwear, 6 pairs of pants , 3 pretty dresses, 2 cat shirts, and a pair of yoga pants.

25. Because if you didn't buy another pair of yoga pants did you really even go to the mall?

26. Now I need coffee because this shopping trip was exhausting.

27. *Leaves mall, goes home, sits on couch*

28. I forgot to return the pair of jeans in the back of my car!

29. I guess I'll have to go back to the mall again.

30. I think I'll stop in to Bath and Body Works because after all these errands I really do deserve some more cucumber melon body spray.
