Laptop stickers are a growing phenomenon for college students. The amount of expression a sticker can show to random strangers in big lectures is totally worth the collection. Let's see what stickers can say about you:

1. Hometown

You are proud of where you grew up and want everyone at your school to know you are from out of state. State stickers, area code stickers, high school stickers all fall into the category of bragging about where you are from.

2. Greek life

If you have your sorority or frat on your computer, it most likely means you are trying to brag and show off that you are in a cool group on campus. Nice!

3. Favorite foods

Everyone loves food but it is pretty tough to choose a sticker of one type of food and call is your favorite! So if you have a food sticker you must be obsessed with that food and want people to know it.

4. Political views

This sticker means you are the kind of person who thinks they will win any and every argument. If you are “involved” enough in politics to have a sticker showing your political views, you need to remove it. Didn't your parents ever tell you that is not a good small-talk discussion? This sticker will cause way more negatives than positives.

5. Favorite TV show

You want everyone to know Michael Scott and the Office are your life, which can be considered basic. Or you put a lesser-known TV show so that everyone is trying to figure your sticker out.

6. Places you have been or want to go

This sticker is for people who want to brag about where they have been or where they are going. If someone knows a place on your computer, they will totally relate to why you obviously need the sticker.

7. Sports teams

Sports teams already have their own crazy fan base. Depending on where you are in college, you will have the team everyone loves on your computer or something from your hometown where you will pick up some heat.

8. Favorite animal

If you have a puppy or anything like that then you are trying to come across loving and cuddly. Even if deep down that may not be the case.

9. Quotes

If you have quotes you are trying to be the over-motivational person that everyone quickly gets tired of for trying to make them positive.

10. No stickers

Of course, no stickers is a very safe and adult way to not show off everything about yourself on your extremely expensive computer.

But hey, stickers are trendy in college and they can say A LOT about the person you are or want to become.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.
