As a person who loves to go to restaurants and enjoys eating things that I should not be putting in my body-- I find myself in a weird relationship with Taco Bell.
It is like that one bad relationship that you need to let go of and that is doing nothing but ripping your intestines apart but you always come back crying and saying sorry that you will never leave them.
It is a very complicated relationship and I know others see it the same way. Here are the steps that you deal with when you have Taco Bell on your mind:
1. You're hungry but you only have a few dollars to spend.
2. Your choices are limited and Taco Bell is cheap...
3. But you know you shouldn't.
4. Maybe a salad will crave your hunger but that never works. No one wants to eat healthily.
5. As you pull into the drive through you know you can leave the line but your heart says you can't.
6. Taco Bell will not let you leave.
7. They lure you in with their variety of sauces and cheap but delicious options.
8. You might as well get that Baja blast you already made it this far and there is no turning back.
9. You know you should not do this but it feels so right.
10. Your organs are screaming at you saying, "NO! DONT DO IT! PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, NOOOOOOOOO!"
11. You don't listen. No one understands your relationship. You dive in any way knowing the consequences of your actions.
12. REGRET! IMMEDIATE REGRET UPON FIRST BITE.
13. You already spent the money, time and effort. FINISH THAT BURRITO!
14. You cry. It's so good but your stomach acid is boiling and feels like it will shoot out of every crevice of your body!
15. You're tired, you're upset and you have failed to resist the urge of that terrible relationship that you keep coming back to.
16. It's not your fault. Taco Bell tempts you every time and you fall into its trap but next time it will be different.
17. You will try to be strong, independent and eat that salad! Don't keep going to that bad relationship that just tortures your body.
18. In the end, you will tell them you always loved them and that they always were your favorite.
