HOLY COW I FINISHED A SEMESTER OF COLLEGE.
Hold for applause.
It is insane to think I have actually been in college for a whole semester. I have taken college classes and have taken finals.
I have also moved into a dorm and have learned to live with other people and kind of what it is like to have sisters.
I have found some amazing friends and have eaten way too much Chick-fil-a.
I have had my fair share of queso and chocolate chip cookies.
I have stayed up way too late to write papers that I should have started on earlier.
I have worked a whole lot at the bookstore and now my closet is full of Belmont shirts.
I have fallen asleep in the middle of the day and have gotten back up to go to lunch.
I have only skipped a class once and that deserves tons of applause.
I have found a church I really enjoy here in Nashville.
I have sometimes forgotten I have a car due to my lack of driving.
I have managed to keep in touch with my high school best friends with the help of a middle school app called Skype.
I have lost my mind while doing psychology homework more times than I care to remember but still have managed to pass the class.
I have realized that buying toilet paper and shampoo happens more often than not.
I have wished to be at Disney a lot and have considered dropping out and just being a Disney Princess but to no avail.
I learned how to place a claim on a check because sadly got my check stuck in the ATM but no worries, when they finally answered I had been on hold for a least an hour three times that week.
Laundry, I have realized, is basically the Hunger Games.
Coffee has slowly become a huge part of my lifestyle as well as yogurt and granola every morning at my 9 a.m. class has as well.
My room has become invaded with all things Phi Mu and have froze or sweated to death walking up the hill to Dickens to see Cassidy.
I have learned to sometimes make meals out of snacks because I was just too lazy to leave my dorm.
I have learned how not raise my hand in class and also have learned tons of new viewpoints on religion, politics and as well as social issues.
Overall, I have loved college a whole lot more than I even realized I could, but man am I ready for a break and to catch up on sleep… finally.
But Belmont, I will catch you in January with all my theatre classes.
