There is nothing more annoying than trying to pull everything together in the morning so that I can drive to school. I can hardly pull myself together let alone everything else.

1. Packing up school books and trying to remember everything including yourself

http://gph.is/2n6Obez

It almost feels like you're packing up your entire life just to drive for forty-five minutes just to attend a couple of classes five days a week. Most of the items feel unnecessary, but they're all significant to your education.

2. Rushing out the door

http://gph.is/2mTTnTA

Even after a mug of black tea and a yogurt, you still feel like you are asleep. You do everything in your power to stay awake while driving.

3. Speeding down the highway

http://gph.is/1UVujVx

As always, you must arrive on time not only to find a good parking space but also to be on time for your first class to start.

4. And trying to avoid going too fast

http://gph.is/2cwoNaf

The one thing you should always keep in the back of your mind while driving is that if you get pulled over, you will be super late for your first class.

5. Finally arriving with twenty minutes to spare

http://gph.is/16FVWvl

Arriving as early as possible is a must, especially if you want to both find a legal parking spot and be on time for class.

6. Trying to find a parking spot that is close to your first class

http://gph.is/1pzcmL2

As Cher Horowitz from Clueless would say, you are "totally buggin'" because every single parking space appears to have a car in its spot!

7. Realizing there are no parking spots

http://gph.is/2mg4Dpz

Why is it that all of the other lots except your lot have wide open spaces? The world may never know. However, you are not about to give up that easily.

8. Doing one more lap around the parking lot just to make sure

http://gph.is/2oJPihZ

By this time, you have pretty much lost all hope of finding a space and wonder why you didn't park at one of the other lots.

9. Kicking yourself for even trying to believe there could be an open spot

http://gph.is/2cp1rT4

You're looking so hard and trying to be optimistic in hopes that you missed something, but what's the point when every single student parking spot has a car parked in its space? I mean, you could have driven past a parking space right before somebody else pulled into it.

10. Looking at the clock to realize you have ten minutes to get to class

http://gph.is/2lIXJNh

Ten minutes, similar to twenty minutes, may seem like plenty of time, but if you think about it, it takes five to seven minutes to get to your classroom, and five minutes to get yourself settled and prepared for the hour-and-a-half lecture. Time is quickly ticking.

11. Finally finding an open parking spot

http://gph.is/12A1TYO

Getting that one last parking spot before everybody else feels like an enormous accomplishment. Your eyes catch the open space, and you put on the biggest smile because, during this moment, you feel like you are the most beautiful, talented person this world has ever seen. You lock your eyes on it as you carefully drive between the white lines.

12. Hauling it to your first class with the expectation of being late AGAIN

http://gph.is/1UAnoBx

You need to dead sprint if you're ever going to make it to your class on time. These are the times you wished you ran as a cardio workout.

13. Confidently walking out after your last class

http://gph.is/225QfPQ

Whether or not you are lucky enough to have your best friend by your side, you still cannot help but think about how in a little bit, you will be home with your not-so-snuggly but massive, sweet, adorable partner in crime. You have one thing everybody else who lives on or near campus does not: a dog as your roommate.

14. Trying to leave because your last class ends at the same time everybody else's does

http://gph.is/1UDxZN2

The most annoying part about commuting is all of the bad drivers in the parking lot who are getting out the same time you finish your last class. The lot has a whole line of students driving their cars and trying to get home. I don't know about you other commuters, but for me, I feel like I'm back in my high school parking lot again just trying to get out of there so that I can finally see my dogs.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
