If you dye your hair frequently, you're probably accustomed to the many questions and comments you receive. At this point, you seldom think twice to answer. In my experience, these are the questions and remarks that just always seem to be on the forefront of people's minds when they view my new hair.
1. "Did you dye your hair because you didn't like how you looked with your old hair?"
Not really, no.
2. "So why did you dye it?"

Because I wanted to?
3. "You look insanely different. Like, I didn't even recognize you."
4. "Do you feel like a new person?"
Still feel like the same person.
5. "I liked you better as a ________."
I do not recall asking for your opinion.
6. "Don't you worry that you're killing your hair?"
I appreciate your concern, but not your unsolicited advice.
7. "You have to redye your hair every ___ weeks? Sounds like a lot a maintenance. You’re dedicated.”
Only a rare few possess the dedication that hair coloration requires.
8. "What color are you dying it next?"
You’ll have to wait and see.
Regardless of the varied reactions, you receive about your hair, you'll continue to dye it because let's be honest: life's too short to have the same hair color for more than three months.
