Coming Home From College Is Amazing

Ever since I can remember, I have wanted to leave my home, and move on to bigger things. Many people can relate especially since the thought process is I am now 18 and need to spread my wings. However, after a full year of college, I can say being home is the best feeling in the world.

Now you may ask why would I think being home is bettter than being at college or living on my own? Why would I want to revoke my new freedom? Well the answers are simple, home cooked meals, sleeping in your OWN bed, and if you are ever sick you can just lay in bed and hope that your mom will bring you soup or take care of you.

I know that my first few weeks of college were pretty fun but after that the boredom sets in. You have been eating dining hall food gaining the freshman 15 (now 30) and your bed is hard and to top it all of you caught the college sickness. I know that this is common between a lot of freshman.

College really can't replace the comfort of being at home. Now you may think that I am revoking my new found freedom. However, you really aren't because after a year of living away of even a week or two your parents finally start seeing you as an adult (I know mine did). Therefore, you still won't have a curfew even if your parents find out you're at the library till 1 a.m.

In the end, coming and being home is the best feeling ever.odys

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
