You have taken your last final (#blessed). You have packed up all of the trinkets on your desk and somehow shoved your ridiculous amount of clothing into a few suitcases that barely zip.

You have said a tearful goodbye to friends and a not-so-tearful goodbye to studying and homework and having responsibilities. You have loaded up the family minivan with all of your items and are cruising down the highway towards home or three months of lounging and fun and home-cooked meals and not having to spend as much money on food (still some, obviously, just not as much). Little do you know what lies ahead.

1. When you ~finally~ get home and run immediately to your room and flop on your bed and don't move for a while.

2. Reuniting with your best friend from high school.

3. That first taste of non-dining hall and non-canned fruit that you've had in months.

4. When you're at the grocery store and you run into someone from your high-school graduating class and you strike up a conversation and find out that they are now married or pregnant, and you are nowhere near either of those milestones.

5. When you didn't have your car at school and you haven't driven in a few months so your first drive is a little shambly.

6. Getting hype for all your high-school friends to come back from college so you can all hangout.

7. When you forget how to act in front of adults or little kids because you are not used to supervision, and you accidentally cuss in front of your grandmother or baby cousin.

8. When you try to get back into the babysitting game in your neighborhood and you find out that all the high schoolers took your jobs.

9. When you go in for actual job interviews and they ask, "So, why do you want to work here?" and you give them an honest answer.

10. When your little sibling asks if you even have any friends, but none of them are home yet so you haven't done anything fun.

11. When you can finally binge-watch without the guilt of postponed schoolwork and so you lock yourself in your room for many days and your leg hair situation reaches a point of concern.

12. Trying to justify your horrible nutrition now that your parents can see what you're eating.

13. When you got one of the jobs you applied for even though it's for barely any money.

14. When your pet always sits next to you and so you leave a spot on the couch for them and they walk in the room and look right at you and then go to sit next to your sister.

15. When you've been hanging out with exclusively your family for a week with little alone time and things are getting tense.

16. When you realize that you somehow miss school and classes and friends and freedom, and you kind of want to go back already.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
