The college years are filled with studying, partying, and Netflixing. If you ever catch yourself in your dorm with nothing to do, these are a few movies that you should check out.

1. "American Pie"

American Pie was released in the year 1999, the end of the great decade known as generation x. The five main characters are surrounded by the classic "clique" labeling. There is the geeks, the over-sexualized, and the jocks. During this movie, the main boys in the story are looking for prom dates to lose their virginities too and it ends up in a sticky situation. This movie is perfect for a great laugh and any college age students could appreciate it, with a sense of dirty humor.

2. "Nationals Lampoon's Animal House"

Anyone who has been rejected by a frat or sorority would appreciate this one. Kent and Larry are rejected from their first frat of choice. This leads them to lower their standards and settle with Delta Cha Tau. Delta Cha Tua members then have to battle with the elite frat throughout the whole movie. This is a classic snob vs the geek story.

3.) "Neighbors"

A drop dead beautiful Zac Efron meets a hysterical Seth Rogen. If you enjoy anything with gag jokes and shirtless Efron, and Seth's stoner humor, then this is the movie for you. In this movie its frat boys vs parents. Efron's character is the ring leader in his frat moving next door to Rogen's character, a brand new father. They fight it out and Rogen's character tries to get Efron's to move away so they can resume life as it was before the frat boys moved in.

4. "White Chicks"

White Chicks is my personal favorite on this list. The Wayan Brothers star in this comedy flick. They are cops who lose their jobs and decide to take matters into their own hands by becoming a white woman and stealing the Wilson twins identity. During this movie, you can expect to shed tears from the drama, romance, and the natural comedy that is produced from the Wayan brothers.

5. "Legally Blonde"

Legally Blonde is a classic beyond its years. Meet Elle Wood, a gorgeous blonde who wants to prove the world that not all blondes are dumb by applying to Harvard Law School. Elle Woods soon finds out she was on accepted into Harvard due to her bikini tape that the professor found attractive. In one of the most empowering female movies of all time, you get to watch Elle Woods conquer love, law school, and anyone who had any doubts about her. If anyone is having doubts that they can't complete school, this was definitely the movie to watch.

Sorority
Rebekah Lee

I remember my freshman year oh so well. I remember feeling terrified the night before orientation. The one thing that I dreaded the most was not the new people, the new environment, or even the academic pressure. I was dreading having to talk to sorority girls about Recruitment. I remember cutting off and avoiding any Rho Gamma/Panhellenic Officer that came my way during First Week. I looked at them like they had asked me to cut my arm off whenever they asked me if I wanted to rush. To be honest, I did not even know what rush was, but I knew that I did NOT want to be a part of it. To me, it was dumb. It was a waste of money. It was a waste of my time.

And guess what? I did not rush my freshman year. I spent the first half of my freshman year isolating myself from everyone on campus. I spent all of my time in the library, and then (since I was a commuter) went back home once my work was finished.

Tiana would no doubt be disappointed in the food our cafeteria has to offer.

And hopefully she would cook for everyone in her dorm.

She definitley would not take any 8:00 am classes because she would be up late baking and cleaning up the communal kitchen that are available in every dorm.
