I've noticed over the years that I have a very "unique" taste in movies. I found that my favorite movies are usually comedies that nobody else knows except for my internet friends. They usually have the most juvenile sense of comedy, but entertain me to no end. Think "American Pie," and you probably know the type of humor I'm talking about. If you are on the hunt for some easy going comedies to watch on a Sunday night - this is your list.
1. "Road Trip"
"Road Trip" follows four college friends who go on a road trip to steal back a sex tape that one of them accidentally sent to their girlfriend. Of course, along the way everything that could go wrong, does. Oh, and there's also a very hungry snake involved...
2. "Rocky Horror Picture Show"
Most probably wouldn't group "Rocky Horror Picture Show" with "American Pie." Nonetheless, this musical, comedy thriller became a personal favorite of mind as soon as Dr. Frank - N - Furter arrived the transvestite scientist appeared on my screen.
3. Joe and Silent Bob
Joe and Silent Bob are two characters that originated on another cult classic, "Clerks." Since then, the dimwitted comedy duo has gained their own underground following that led to over five movies featuring the characters. I love every movie that they're in, but to enjoy Joe and Silent Bob at their best, you must watch "Joe and Silent Bob Strike Back," as they attempt to defeat...the internet?
4. "Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure"
I love "Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure" solely because it reminded me so much of Joe from Joe and Silent Bob. This is a great 80s movie, that takes two punk rock kids (including young Keanu Reaves!!) on a quest through a magical time machine. Once you fall in love with these two idiots, you can enjoy them again in "Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey!"
5. "Monty Python"
My love for "Monty Python" is kind of unusual because I tend to only like movies made between 1980 and 2010, but Monty Python is damn good humor! However, do really find love for Monty Python you have to watch "Holy Grail." The Monty Python 1975 cult classic takes a comedic twist on the middle ages. I die laughing every single time I watch this movie!
