Right now, when you ask most people about makeup, they're probably going to think about products and names like Kylie Lip Kits, Jeffree Star's Unicorn Blood, Sephora, and Ulta. Not many people know about the wonderful company of ColourPop. I got into ColourPop a little over a year ago, and while sometimes my wallet hurts a little, it was probably one of the best things to happen to my make-up, or more specifically my lipstick, collection. As of right now, I have 9 different ColourPop lip colors to give everyone an idea about how much I love lip products. A few of my favorites include a glossy green called Crystal Ball, a smooth dusky purple called Marshmallow, a beautiful matte grey called Petit Four.
Besides having a wonderful selection of year round makeup available for purchase, ColourPop creates beautiful kits for collaborations or for holiday specials. ColourPop's current holiday special is titled Now Playing and includes eyeshadow sets, lip sets and bundles, sets that include a lip color, an eyeshadow, and a highlighter, as well as products available for individual purchase. The Now Playing collection boasts items with names like Naughty, Nice, Tinsel, Sleigh, The Good Times, Kiss And Tell, and For Fox's Sake. ColourPop also released a special edition matte black for the holiday season and unfortunately it's already sold out! #sosad
Recently, ColourPop also did a collaboration with Hello Kitty. The collab includes lip and eye products, two makeup sets, and a cute makeup bag. Personally, I would love to own this entire collection! With names like SuperCute and Mama's Apple Pie what's not to love? Growing up I was a big Hello Kitty fan, and even today I love Hello Kitty products. When I learned Hellow Kitty and ColourPop were doing a collab I was incredibly excited! Fortunately, the Christmas season is right around the corner and I put a few things from this collab onto my wish list!
ColourPop is a wonderful company, and this year their name has really started to grow. When I saw that ColourPop's consumer base was expanding it made me nervous about whether price's would rise or not, because ColourPop has their makeup very reasonably priced, especially since their products are good quality. Thankfully, they have kept their prices the same and have added so many more shades, colors, and products to the Colourpop name. I can't wait to see what the future holds for them!
