I Am Exhausted, Hungry And I Don't Even Remember The Last Time I Saw My Friends.

Is this semester over yet?

At this point in the semester, you've been moved back for 10 weeks and you've been in class for 8. It's at that point where you seriously contemplate even getting up in enough time to do your hair or makeup. You can forget about the nice clothes and trying to look decent, you won't catch me in anything but leggings, Nike shorts and t-shirts. Once October hits, it's all downhill from here.

The motivation and excitement you once had is now gone and you just can't wait for it to be Thanksgiving so you can eat and be out of school for a couple of days. You probably have these daily thoughts at this point in the semester:

1. Do I really need that participation grade that bad?

2. When your friends ask you to go out, it's a struggle to decide to leave your bed or not.

3. When your alarm goes off for your 8 AM you snooze it a million times and see how close you can get until you really have to get out of bed.

4. You are counting down the days until the next break. PSA there's only 44 days until Thanksgiving break and 58 until Christmas.

5. Your clothes are only t-shirts and leggings or sweatpants at this point.

6. Netflix and Hulu is your favorite procrastination.

7. Going to work is the only time you really see your friends.

8. You complain about how much you hate school in your group chats at least three times a day.

9. And you say you are going to drop out probably ten times a day...

10. You question if you really like your major enough or if you need to change it for the twentieth time.

11. You never see your roommates so you don't know if they still live there or not.

12. Campus food is not okay anymore.

13. Are all my professors getting together and making everything due on the same day?

14. Will this semester ever end?

15. I need to get a puppy.

16. Can I afford this? No? Okay, I'll get two.

17. It will be a miracle if I graduate on time.

18. I'm gonna call mom just to ask her something. *Three hours later*

19. Have I brushed my hair today?

20. When was the last time I cleaned my room? I can't even see the floor.

21. Stressed, stress, and more stress. Isn't college fun?!

22. I need sleep, but homework, so sleep it is.

23. I really miss summer.

24. I should probably go back to the gym...any day now.

25. *Accomplishes one assignment* I am so proud of myself!

26. I can't adult today.

27. I think I will just eat my stress and feelings away.

28. There's only 27 hours, 42 minutes and 13 seconds until Friday. I can do this.

29. Will I ever use this at my job?

30. Are you kidding me?

31. People keep testing your patience and you wonder how much longer you're going to be able to deal with it.

32. You start using Google for every question you have; even if it isn't homework.

33. The only thing getting you through is the semester is more than halfway over, but it is still a daily struggle.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Whether you met your new love interest online, through mutual friends, or another way entirely, you'll definitely want to know what you're getting into. I mean, really, what's the point in entering a relationship with someone if you don't know whether or not you're compatible on a very basic level?

Consider these 21 questions to ask in the talking stage when getting to know that new guy or girl you just started talking to:

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
