Alright, boys, this is your chance. Listen up! Grab a pen and paper, because this is your time to get it right for once. (Joking!) We are giving you your own dating playbook straight from the horse's mouth.
I asked four single, college ladies what their idea of a perfect date would entail, and they came up with some interesting suggestions. We also went on to answer other relationship questions, and you're going to want to keep reading this! But what makes the perfect date? Stay tuned.
What is the best date you've ever been on?"
"Making a gingerbread house and chilling afterwards was really fun!"
"Watching movies either at the theatre or at home so I can wear comfy clothes."
"I was out at dinner with this guy and he could tell I wasn't feeling well. So, he took me to the grocery store and bought me two rolls of cookie dough."
Describe your perfect date.
"Tacos, strawberries and cheap soda. Period. Oh! And maybe some Netflix."
"Driving and sitting under the stars like in the movies!"
What is the biggest turn off?
"Somebody on their phone ALL the time! Like do you even really want to be here with me?!"
"Somebody who is not nice to wait staff and does not tip is the worst."
"When a guy you're talking to can hold a conversation on the phone better than in person."
Any dating tips in general?
"Show a genuine interest in the person and not just filling the empty space with small talk is always a plus."
"Engage in the conversation and ask them questions too, but don't drill them with questions."
"Don't give it all away at once. Keep me guessing and don't say spill biggest secret first! Save that for the second date, ha!"
What's the best part about not dating?
"You can look at other people's relationships and learn from their mistakes and the good things they do."
"Getting to play therapist for your friends in relationships is pretty great."
How do you snag a date?
"BY BEING BE MY AWESOME SELF!"
"I'm the first to say hey."
"My family usually plays matchmaker."
If you were a boy, what advice would you give him to win you over?
" Smile! I love a good smile."
"Just be yourself and don't act different from how you do around your friends. Your friends know the real you. Don't fake it. It's not attractive when you're obviously faking."
"Don't try too hard."
"Don't break up over text - idiot!"
