As a 19 year-old college student, I easily should be dedicating most of my time to my studies, extracurriculars, and cramming for upcoming exams. Instead, I recently discovered the purest form of joy: That's So Raven gifs that relate impeccably to the college experience I have witnessed thus far. So, enjoy this blast from the past (it's 100% terrifying that this show is considered old) and relive the early 2000s in all its Raven Symoné glory.

1. When it's 3 am on a Friday night and you just ordered a large pizza, 2 orders of fries and mozz sticks.

2. When you receive Snapchats of the boy you like with another girl.

3. When you overslept and rush into your 8:30 class at 8:40 still wearing your pajamas and slippers.

4. When your roommate has that look on her face that means there's either boy drama, she needs advice, she did something dumb the night before, or she ate your food and doesn't want you to get mad.

5. When you run out of all forms of money and suddenly get angered by the disproportionate price of water bottles for the first time in your life.

6. When you walk into the communal bathroom to take a nice shower and realize that all 3 shower stalls have hairballs on the walls or you see a girl walking around the bathroom without shower shoes.

7. When your 8:30 am class on Friday is cancelled

8. When you had some form of contact with the opposite gender and you immediately start planning your impending wedding.

9. When it's finally the weekend and it's time to forget about the dark cloud looming over your head that is adulthood.

10. When you notice another girl headed for the laundry room at the same time as you and you know there's only one open machine and you start to secretly race her.

11. When you're hungry so you text everyone you know so you don't have to eat at the dining hall alone.

12. When you and your friends roll up to a party looking 10/10.

13. When you've spent a short amount of time doing the bare minimum and get exhausted, so you need to take your 4th nap of the day before your next class.

14. When you see a thousand couples walking together on campus but you can't seem to even hold a conversation with a male so you accept your future as a cat lady.

15. When suddenly you realize that it's April and you have only been to the gym a few times since September and summer is right around the corner.

16. When your classes are hard and you feel like you have never learned anything useful in your entire life.

17. When you hear gossip about that guy your neighbor brought back to her room last night and you find out he has a girlfriend back home that your neighbor didn't know about.

18. When you go home for a break and you suddenly have to act like a normal, functioning adult who doesn't spend their time binge watching netflix instead of looking for jobs.

19. When you forgot to do the reading and your professor asks you what you thought of the book.

20. When responsibilities/homework/midterms/finals/your impending future creep up faster than you think.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
