College Told By Summer Heights High GIFs

When you realize college is actually kinda hard, and you still have to take core classes you find boring

When it's the first day of classes and there are those few freshmen girls who still dress cute like they did in high school

When the hot guy in your lecture lets you borrow his pen after you've been subtly trying to make eye contact all semester

When your parents call to ask how the semester is going and you are in denial about the train wreck that is your life

And then you try to justify to yourself the train wreck that is your life

When you're trying to study at the library and there's that one group of people who will not shut up and learn to whisper

When your professor says the final will not be cumulative

When you realize the freshmen 15 is real, but also that metabolisms slow way down the older you get

When your high school friends don't return your texts/phone calls and you pretend it's fine

How you feel when yet another company doesn't respond to your inquiry about a summer internship

When the guy you've been talking to for a month all of a sudden cuts off all communication and you just don't understand why

When you took one too many shots and you assume everyone in the world is against you

When you fail the test you studied for all week and your roommates come home talking about how well their lives are going

When you're an upperclassmen but still can't help but notice when the freshmen boys roll out in their pledge attire

When you come home for summer and start trying on old homecoming and prom dresses because you need a self esteem booster

The first time you go to a frat party when you're no longer a freshman and notice just how annoying you must have been as a freshman

When your jam comes on at the party

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
