The last two weeks of the college term are really difficult. You have something called dead week, which is when all of the last-minute papers, exams, and projects are due. This week I have two papers, two quizzes, two presentations, and I still need to find time to feed myself and get enough sleep.

Here is what the life of a college student looks like during dead week.

1. Well, that was fantastic. I love getting three hours of sleep.

2. Do I have to get up?

3. Five more minutes should be enough of a snooze. (That's a lie, it never is).

4. T-shirt, leggings, whichever shoes I get on my feet first, and I am out the door.

5. Did I put on my deodorant before leaving or is it just my outlook on life that stinks right now?

6. I would say I am a hot mess, but if I look in a mirror, I will probably crack a mirror. Better grab a hat to reduce the blinding of others.

7. Parking is horrible because everyone is here to kiss their professor's ass before going into finals.

8. The further I walk into campus, the more I am forgetting what happiness and relaxation are. Hell, was I ever relaxed?

9. What is the biggest coffee I can buy and how many of them can I afford?

10. Is it appropriate to double-fist two venti iced coffees during group presentations? I'm not asking for a friend, this is just where we are at right now.

11. That was a waste of my time grading other people's presentations when I could have been studying or sleeping away this nightmare of a week.

12. I have two hours before my last class of the day, so do I go to my car and curl up in the back seat or go to the library?

13. Why are library chairs the worst? I hate being a good student.

14. Oh look, a YouTube video of dogs failing to catch things.

15. I have another hour until class and somehow I am now watching YouTube videos on conspiracy theories in movies and TV. How did I get here?

16. I am hungry, and I know coffee isn't food. I can't eat anxiety.

17. These peanuts look good and cheap.

18. Maybe a mozzarella stick for good measure. #treatyourself.

19. OK, half an hour to go. Maybe I will just go and sit in front of the classroom and look over notes or something.

20. Wow, look, a BuzzFeed quiz!

21. Oh, damn, class is starting. Guess I will do my actual work after class.

22. Now that class is over, I can go home and cry over my list of things I need to get done this week.

23. Now that I am sitting at my desk at home, I feel like I deserve a pizza from the hard work I put in today. Maybe a little video game break, a little Netflix. I just want to relax.

24. Sweet, it's only 9:00 p.m., I have the whole night to do a bunch of work.

25. Wait, I have what due tomorrow?

26. Oh crap, I have an online quiz, a reflection, and a presentation due tomorrow?

27. And I have a group meeting tomorrow?

28. Is this how my whole week looks? Why yes, yes it is.

29. OK, if I pound out all of this work I can get a little sleep...

30. It's only 3:30 a.m., I have time for a little bit of sleep. I hope I can feel less stressed out tomorrow.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
